Part-Time Teacher
About The Position
LearnWell is seeking a passionate and creative teacher to provide on-site educational services to school-age patients receiving treatment at a behavioral health facility in Moorestown, New Jersey. The position is part-time for the school year and involves supporting child and adolescent students in a small classroom setting. Class sizes typically range from 8 to 15 students. The teacher will plan and deliver daily lessons, provide individualized academic assistance, communicate about student progress as needed, monitor and adjust teaching strategies to support student success, and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. The position requires 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
- New Jersey standard teaching license.
- Comfortable working with K–12 students.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
- Reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
