About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is expected to understand and follow licensing guidelines and company standards, and build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The role requires engaging with children in physical activities indoors or outdoors. The position is part-time and follows a Monday–Friday work week.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences for children.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
