About The Position

Teachers at Learning Care Group child care centers provide daily care and support children’s learning and development. They follow licensing guidelines and company standards, observe and assess children, plan learning experiences, and communicate with families. Teachers complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and child development, and implement the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive activities. The role involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in a licensed child care center or related field.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in the classroom.
• Observe and assess children and plan for their needs and development.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on child care, preschool, and development topics.
