About The Position

Examination of the structures, programs and opportunities available to intermediate and senior students; consideration of climates to support adolescent well-being. HYBRID COURSE In Teacher Education, Hybrid means that all courses include ten in-person sessions offered on campus at the University of Ottawa (30 in-person instructional hours) and two online course modules, delivered through Brightspace, which provide the equivalent of 6 instructional hours.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in education required; PhD degree in Education will be given preference.
  • Qualification to teach in Ontario schools (OCT certification) at the Intermediate/Senior levels and/or research-based work focused on adolescence and schooling.
  • Recent experience in teaching in a school or working in administration of a school board at the Intermediate-Senior level.
  • Knowledge of the current Ontario Curriculum and of the Ethical Standards and Standards of Practice of the Ontario College of Teachers.
