About The Position

The School of Accountancy at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool. This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available. Appointments from the part-time pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on very short notice.

Requirements

  • A Masters or ABD, PhD degree in Accounting/Taxation or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students.
  • Demonstrated potential for effective integration of technology into instruction.
  • Demonstrated commitment to and/or excellence in teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting such as teaching, research, and working in industry.
  • Must be available on very short notice.
  • Complete online application.
  • Letter of interest or Cover Letter explaining expertise and what courses you are competent to teach and/or interested in teaching.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • A list of three (3) references with contact information.
  • Copy of your unofficial transcripts conferring your highest terminal degree.
  • Three letters of recommendation (required before official hire).
  • Official transcripts from the institution’s Registrar’s office emailed to: [email protected] (required before official hire).
  • Mandated reporter under the California Child Abuse And Neglect Reporting Act.
  • Satisfactory background check.
  • Sign a release form authorizing the release of information by the applicant’s current and/or former employers to the CSU concerning any substantiated allegations of misconduct (for final stage applicants).
