About The Position

The Part Time CEC is responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience and overseeing Associates at the front of the store to ensure prompt, courteous service and promotion of loyalty programs. The role leads by example through customer engagement, outstanding service, and maintaining a clean and organized store. It also supports front-end operations, Associate training, store priorities, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts.

Requirements

Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
Able to multitask.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Team player who works effectively with peers and supervisors.
Able to train others.
One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Create a positive internal and external customer experience and model outstanding customer service.
Promote honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and on personalizing the customer experience while promoting loyalty programs.
Assign registers, support and respond to point-of-sale coverage needs, and coordinate Associate breaks.
Address customer concerns and issues promptly.
Ensure Associates complete tasks according to the store plan and reprioritize as needed.
Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
