About The Position

The Part Time CEC promotes an excellent customer experience and oversees Associates at the front of the store to ensure prompt, courteous service and promotion of loyalty programs. The role leads by example through customer engagement, maintaining a clean and organized store, and modeling outstanding service. It also supports front-end operations, Associate training, store priorities, and safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Requirements

Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
Strong understanding of merchandising techniques.
Able to multitask.
Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
Works effectively with peers and supervisors as a team player.
Able to train others.
One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote a culture of honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Train and mentor Associates on front-end principles and personalizing customer experiences while promoting loyalty programs.
Assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs, and coordinate Associate breaks.
Address customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Communicate priorities and progress accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
