About The Position

ASM Global, the leading venue management company, is now hiring for part-time parking supervisors at Save Mart Center. This role is responsible for directing and observing lot attendants during work shifts, ensuring the orderly flow of traffic for all venue events, and keeping upper Management informed of updated traffic progress as needed.

Requirements

Must possess a working knowledge of parking practices and procedures including monetary reconciliation, traffic control set up/tear down and strong customer service.
Must have safety knowledge and training to assure a safe environment is provided.
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of two years parking lot experience.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Must follow written and oral directions from upper Management.
Must have the ability to multi-task.
Must be able to interact within a diverse environment.
Must have the ability to take charge and direct staff in a professional manner at all times.
Must be able to act and respond professionally and politely to all individuals and work as a team member.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds at a time.

Nice To Haves

Prior supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Reports directly to the Parking and Security Manager
Supervises, assigns duties, and trains all parking employees
Informs Parking and Security Manager of any issues as soon as they arise
Acts as the main parking contact for Police Traffic Control during major events
Oversees all parking procedures on assigned shift
Ensures all safety measures are provided and in place for staff and others
Monitors the performance of parking personnel to ensure all department procedures are followed during shifts
Monitors parking sales, processes cash receipts and tickets through ASM Global’s established internal control procedures
Maintains overall integrity of the cash control function
Handles customer complaints and inquiries in a professional manner at all times
Monitors and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment
Other related duties as assigned
