About The Position

Fast Park & Relax is seeking a dependable, hardworking Parking Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and employees. The role is suited to a self-motivated person who takes pride in their work and can work independently. The position is full-time and located at 6655 Will Clayton Parkway, Humble, Texas.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least one year of custodial or janitorial experience.
Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
Experience with basic maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and changing light bulbs.
Experience working independently and as part of a team.
Experience adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and techniques and of safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellent service, with a positive and professional attitude.
Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
Ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and to lift, bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Snow removal experience with snow removal equipment.

Nice To Haves

Previous janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or facilities experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness of the parking facility through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
Perform snow removal using snow removal equipment.
Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
Operate cleaning equipment, including power washers, floor scrubbers, commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and vacuum cleaners.
Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including replacing light bulbs, touching up paint, and repairing minor damage to walls and fixtures.
Remove litter, debris, and graffiti from the facility and surrounding property.
Identify and report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
Monitor cleaning supply and maintenance material inventory and report replenishment needs.
Follow company safety policies and procedures, including using required personal protective equipment.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance activities.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
