About The Position
Fast Park & Relax is hiring a dependable, hardworking Parking Facility Maintenance Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming parking facility for customers and employees. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing facility areas, removing snow and litter, operating cleaning equipment, performing minor maintenance and repairs, and reporting hazards and supply needs. The position requires physical work, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods, and may involve work in various weather conditions. The listed location is 613 Petersburg Road, Hebron, KY 41048.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least one year of custodial or janitorial experience; similar-environment experience is preferred.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and pressure washers.
- Experience with basic maintenance tasks such as painting, minor repairs, and changing light bulbs.
- Experience working independently and as part of a team.
- Experience following safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, stooping, standing, and walking for extended periods; ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and safety regulations related to cleaning and maintenance.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment, prioritize tasks, manage time, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and quality, reliable attendance and punctuality, a strong work ethic, and a positive, professional attitude.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
Nice To Haves
- Previous janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or facilities experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience with snow removal equipment is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Maintain facility cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.
- Perform snow removal using snow removal equipment.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms.
- Operate power washers, floor scrubbers, commercial vacuums, floor buffers, and other cleaning equipment.
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including replacing light bulbs, touching up paint, and repairing minor damage to walls and fixtures.
- Remove litter, debris, and graffiti from the facility and surrounding property.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
- Monitor cleaning-supply and maintenance-material inventory and report replenishment needs.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures, including using required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and maintenance activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
