About The Position

The Parking Cashier is responsible for handling cash and electronic transactions with parking customers. The role involves providing friendly, professional customer service, issuing and collecting parking tickets, applying the correct parking rates, and accurately managing payments and cashier funds. The position is suitable for someone entering or returning to the workforce, and on-the-job training is provided. ABM welcomes veterans and candidates with military experience.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Nice To Haves

One year of similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Approach and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions, problems, and concerns.
Relay customer concerns or information to the shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary.
Respond quickly to provide excellent customer service.
Follow company procedures and comply with safety regulations.
Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets.
Match visitor tickets to the parking rate schedule, collect the correct payment, and provide correct change.
Complete lost-ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges, and accurately account for all funds in the cashier drawer.
Perform revenue drops according to location procedures.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Answer the telephone promptly and courteously when required.
Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
Communicate professionally at all times with guests, the client, and teammates.
