MCO Lead Cashier
About The Position
The Lead Cashier is accountable for cash and electronic transactions. They oversee all cashiers to ensure work is completed appropriately, accept accountability for cash transactions, and assure all transactions are accounted for correctly. This role involves training new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems, counting down cash drawers with the previous shift lead present for accurate counts and reporting, and checking in with cashiers at least once an hour for drops and change needs. The Lead Cashier also provides customer service and information to patrons and prepares for the next shift, which includes money audits, supply checks, and verifying that cashiers have all necessary paperwork. A key aspect of this role is ensuring quality service, customer satisfaction, clean facility areas, and a safe work environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1 year of experience required
