About The Position

The Parking Cashier is responsible for handling cash and electronic transactions with parking customers and providing friendly, professional customer service. The role includes issuing and collecting visitor parking tickets, applying the appropriate parking rates, collecting payments, providing correct change, and accurately reconciling cashier funds. On-the-job training is provided, and no prior experience or diploma is required. The hourly pay rate is $20.00. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.
No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.

Responsibilities

Approach and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions, problems, and concerns.
Relay customer concerns or information to the shift lead or Operations Manager as necessary.
Respond quickly to provide excellent customer service.
Follow company procedures and comply with safety regulations.
Issue and/or collect visitor parking tickets.
Match visitor tickets to the parking rate schedule, collect the proper payment, and distribute correct change.
Complete lost-ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.
Reconcile receipts, cash, and charges, and accurately account for all funds in the cashier drawer.
Perform revenue drops according to location-specific procedures.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Answer the telephone promptly and courteously when required.
Immediately report accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
Communicate professionally at all times with guests, clients, and teammates.
