Park Maintenance Worker (Semi Skilled Laborer) (Seasonal) - Ryerson Station State Park
About The Position
This position supports the overall care and upkeep of park grounds, buildings, and facilities. It combines physical tasks with routine maintenance to keep the park operating smoothly. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties: Grounds Care: Maintain grass, brush, trees, and natural areas using hand tools and power equipment Facility Upkeep: Clean park buildings, remove trash, and complete basic custodial tasks Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain vehicles and machinery such as dump trucks, Utility Task Vehicles, and tractors Routine Repairs: Assist with repairs and basic construction using carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry tools Tool Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment used in daily tasks
Requirements
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent.
- Must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- Conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports.
