Requirements
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction
- An equivalent combination of experience and training
- Meet the PA residency requirement
- Be able to perform essential job functions
- Submission of criminal history reports upon conditional offer of employment
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance tasks and assist skilled workers with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and related repairs
- Clean facilities, mow grass, remove snow, trim trees, and keep park areas in safe condition
- Mix concrete, install amenities, prepare surfaces, and assist with renovation or repair projects
- Operate mowers, saws, chippers, vehicles, and other small equipment needed to complete assignments
- Provide helpful information to park visitors in a friendly manner
- Use protective equipment, follow safety practices, and complete required records and forms
