About The Position

Anu Family Services is hiring a part-time Parent Coach to serve Outagamie, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc, and nearby counties. Parent Coaches help caregivers build confidence in their parenting skills and strengthen their connection with their children. Many clients receive county support through Comprehensive Community Services, the Children’s Long-Term Support Waiver, or the child welfare system.

Parent Coaches teach caregivers to meet children’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. Using Present Moment Parenting, a strengths-based intervention, they help biological, foster, adoptive, and kinship parents focus on the whole child in the present and apply practical, immediate tools to improve family relationships and encourage healthy behavior changes. Paid training is provided through an online Parenting Coach Certification course.

The position offers a flexible schedule with some evening hours, a home-office base, and professional development opportunities. There is also an opportunity to earn 3,000 supervised hours toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Hours may potentially increase to accommodate the employee’s preference. The role requires in-person, in-home services in the identified counties, with work based from home and on the road.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, human services, or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness and availability to provide in-person, in-home services in the identified counties.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with caregivers whose children have experienced trauma.
• Experience in Comprehensive Community Services (CCS).
