About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services is hiring a full-time, school-based Paraprofessional. The role focuses on supporting students, including students with disabilities, during bus transportation and helping with other tasks at school when needed. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist students with disabilities in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
- Ensure students are seated and secured properly during transit.
- Support students with mobility challenges, including with wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
- Monitor student behavior and maintain a safe, orderly environment on the bus.
- Communicate with the bus driver and school staff about transportation issues or concerns.
- Attend to individual students’ needs, including personal care tasks if necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures during bus incidents or emergencies.
- Help with other tasks in the school when needed.
