About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy to children in a school setting. The role focuses on helping students succeed at school and beyond by delivering high-quality services based on their IEPs and 504 plans. The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and assessments, writes reports, and identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. PDS provides therapist support and a tailored mentorship program.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA certification.
- State Speech-Language Pathology license.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to students in a school setting based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports.
- Determine students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
