About The Position
Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy to students in a school setting. The role focuses on helping children succeed at school and beyond through high-quality services based on their IEPs and 504 plans. The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and assessments, writes reports, and identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. PDS provides mentorship and support to its therapists.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- ASHA certification.
- State Speech-Language Pathology license. PDS’s licensing team can help with the licensing process for a specific state.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality services to students based on their IEPs and 504 plans.
- Conduct evaluations and assessments.
- Write reports.
- Determine students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
