About The Position

Pediatric Developmental Services is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy to children in a school setting. The role focuses on helping students succeed at school and beyond by delivering high-quality services based on their IEPs or 504 plans. The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and assessments, writes reports, and identifies students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills. PDS provides mentorship and support to its therapists.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• ASHA certification.
• State Speech-Language Pathology license. PDS’s licensing team can assist with the licensing process if the candidate does not already have a license for the relevant state.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality speech-language services to students based on their IEPs or 504 plans.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments.
• Write reports documenting evaluations and assessments.
• Determine students’ strengths and areas of concern in speech, fluency, language, and oral motor skills.
