About The Position

The Paralegal Manager role at Sepulveda Sanchez Law exists to elevate the firm's litigation support operations. Requirements

• Extensive experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation, with a deep understanding of discovery, case progression, settlement preparation, trial preparation, and the operational workflows that support successful case outcomes.
• Proven experience leading litigation teams, providing guidance, accountability, and support while fostering collaboration, consistency, and strong departmental performance.
• Skilled in developing and delivering training, onboarding, and coaching programs that strengthen team capabilities, improve performance, and promote long-term professional growth.
• Demonstrated ability to build, document, and implement efficient systems, workflows, and procedures that improve consistency, scalability, and operational effectiveness within a legal environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, litigation support staff, and firm leadership across all levels of the organization.
• Thrives in an in-office role where collaboration and direct engagement with colleagues are integral to success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the paralegal and litigation support team, providing coaching, direction, and accountability while fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and efficient work environment.
• Develop, document, and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and best practices that create consistency, scalability, and operational excellence across the department.
• Oversee the onboarding, training, and professional development of team members, helping them strengthen their skills, expand their knowledge, and perform at a higher level.
• Evaluate litigation support operations to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps, then implement practical solutions that improve workflow efficiency and team effectiveness.
• Monitor and review team work product, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm standards while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and risk reduction.
• Serve as the department's go-to resource for litigation support questions, procedural guidance, workflow issues, and escalated paralegal matters.
