This position is in the Special Design Program and Paraeducators may be reassigned during the year based on student enrollment or other factors. Comprehensive Intervention (CI) Paraeducator Demonstrate agility; ability to kneel, transfer, and lift students; provide toileting care (including diapering). Feed students using G-tube, suctioning, and follow medication protocols. Understanding of severe and profound intellectual and physical disabilities. Follow multiple service care plans (e.g., BIPs, OT, PT, Health Care Plans). Follow PT lifting and transferring directives; safely use mobility and positioning equipment. Learn to use Assistive Technology devices (communication devices, computers, technology). Implement individualized instructional and sensory plans. Support communication needs (AAC devices, communication boards). Maintain safety and health documentation as directed. Collect and record student data as directed by the teacher or specialist to support progress monitoring and decision-making. Hours/Day: 7 Continuing Role Daily Start/End times: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Anticipated Start Date: August 20, 2026
