Autism Behavior Learning Environment (ABLE) Paraeducator Understanding of Autism and behavior interventions. Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and district de-escalation training. Ability to work with challenging and physically aggressive students. Support structured routines, visual schedules, and individualized reinforcement systems. Implement communication supports (AAC, visuals, modeling) as directed. Collect and record student data as directed by the teacher or specialist to support progress monitoring and decision-making. Hours/Day: 7 Continuing Role Daily Start/End times: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Anticipated Start Date: August 20, 2026
