About The Position

California Pizza Kitchen is hiring a Pantry Cook to prepare salads and desserts and help provide guests with a memorable dining experience. Pantry Cooks maintain food quality, sanitation, and station maintenance standards while working as part of a team in a dynamic restaurant environment. Related experience or training of one to three months is required. The stated pay range is $15.00–$19.00 per hour. Benefits are available if coverage requirements are met.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for food quality, sanitation, and maintenance at the Pantry station.
• Prepare salads and desserts in a timely manner.
• Support the line check process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare necessary items for the station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe, sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper equipment temperatures.
• Perform station opening and closing duties and side work each shift.
• Prioritize guests and contribute to a memorable dining experience through teamwork and attentive service.
