About The Position

Carvana is hiring an experienced Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) Technician to repair vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The technician will use advanced glue-pulling techniques, repair hail damage, creases and body lines, and larger dents on steel and aluminum vehicle panels. The position pays $33–$43 per hour and offers an $8,000 bonus. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., on a 4/10 schedule. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Carvana operates vehicle Reconditioning Centers where cars are inspected, repaired, and photographed before being listed on its website. The company describes its customer promise as selling only cars it would sell to its own family. Hiring is contingent on passing a background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive paintless dent repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must pass a complete background check.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
