About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Paintless Dent Repair Technician to work in one of its high-tech vehicle Inspection Centers. The technician will perform paintless dent repairs on steel and aluminum vehicle panels, using advanced glue-pulling techniques and repairing hail damage, creases, body lines, and larger dents. The role requires at least five years of professional automotive PDR experience. The position pays $33–$43 per hour and offers an $8,000 bonus. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., on a four-day, 10-hour schedule. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. Carvana provides training programs for entry-level employees, though this experienced position requires prior PDR experience. Carvana operates vehicle Reconditioning Centers where vehicles are inspected, repaired, and photographed before being listed for sale. Employment is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 5 years of professional automotive paintless dent repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Ability to use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Must pass a complete background check.

Responsibilities

Use advanced glue-pulling techniques to perform paintless dent repair.
Repair hail damage, creases, body lines, and larger-sized dents on steel and aluminum vehicle panels.
Work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and support timely vehicle delivery, including mandatory overtime when required.
