Responsibilities

Review Project Work Order with Estimator and Project Manager prior to project commencement.
Work as a member of the painting crew to maximize efficiency and complete projects on time.
Ensure all Health and Safety practices are followed.
Prepare areas and surfaces for application of materials.
Maintain the project site in a clean and organized manner.
Complete all items to a satisfactory Level 3 Finish aligned with the PCA Standards.
Prepare area(s) to be painted by cleaning, scraping, sanding, pressure washing, patching and masking of adjacent surfaces.
Maintain inventory of paint, paint brushes, and other painting supplies.
Paint areas as instructed, utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.
Follow OSHA/MSDS guidelines with respect to use of hazardous chemicals and proper ventilation.
Familiarize yourself with storage and disposal laws, regulations, and codes.
Thoroughly clean area, supplies, and equipment when a project is completed.
Put remaining paint and supplies in the proper location.
Assist with special maintenance or marketing projects as needed.
