Responsibilities
- Review Project Work Orders with the Estimator and Project Manager.
- Work as a member of the painting crew to maximize efficiency and complete projects on time.
- Ensure all Health and Safety practices are followed.
- Prepare areas and surfaces for application of materials.
- Maintain the project site in a clean and organized manner.
- Complete all items to a satisfactory Level 3 Finish aligned with PCA Standards.
- Prepare area(s) to be painted by cleaning, scraping, sanding, pressure washing, patching, and masking of adjacent surfaces.
- Maintain inventory of paint, paint brushes, and other painting supplies.
- Paint areas as instructed, utilizing appropriate finishes and applications.
- Follow OSHA/MSDS guidelines with respect to use of hazardous chemicals and proper ventilation.
- Familiarize yourself with storage and disposal laws, regulations, and codes.
- Thoroughly clean area, supplies, and equipment when a project is completed.
- Put remaining paint and supplies in the proper location.
- Assist with special maintenance or marketing projects as needed.
