Paint Line Loader
About The Position
The Paint Line Loader hangs weldments on the paint line and inspects them for quality. The role involves moving units from Black Inventory into the paint stage, hanging weldment configurations according to hang patterns, and checking for issues such as missing or inadequate welds and weld spatter. The loader removes dirty hooks for reconditioning, performs Oracle transactions, and reports supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents, or injuries to a supervisor. Other duties may be assigned. The position offers a 4/10 work schedule. Base pay is $21.50–$24.25 per hour, with overtime eligibility and the opportunity to earn a production bonus based on performance metrics and applicable criteria.
Requirements
- Effectively communicate in English by reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Frequently lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Push or pull up to 25 lbs.
- Walk, stand, bend, twist or turn, reach overhead, and grasp tools as necessary.
- Operate a hoist, sander, and grinder.
