Paint Line Loader
About The Position
The Paint Line Loader hangs weldments on the paint line and inspects them for quality. The role includes moving units from Black Inventory into the paint stage, hanging weldment configurations according to hang patterns, removing dirty hooks for reconditioning, and completing Oracle transactions. The employee reports supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents, and injuries to a supervisor. Other duties may be assigned. The position offers a starting wage of $21.50 per hour, with a stated wage range of $21.50–$24.25 per hour, eligibility for overtime, and an opportunity to earn production bonuses based on performance metrics and applicable criteria. The schedule is four 10-hour days. Requirements
- Effectively communicate in English, including reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Frequently lift up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Push and pull up to 25 pounds.
- Walk, stand, bend, twist or turn, reach overhead, and grasp tools as necessary.
- Operate a hoist, sander, and grinder.
Responsibilities
- Pull units from Black Inventory into the paint stage.
- Hang weldment configurations on the paint line according to hang patterns.
- Inspect parts for quality, including missing or inadequate welds and weld spatter.
- Remove dirty hooks for reconditioning as needed.
- Perform Oracle transactions.
- Report supply needs, equipment breakdowns, accidents, and injuries to a supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
