Dayshift Paint Line Operator
About The Position
Rosenboom is a locally owned, family-operated company that values teamwork, safety, servant leadership, and continuous improvement. The Paint Line Operator works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to help produce quality finished products and support efficient production operations. The role involves identifying and preparing components for painting, loading and unloading products throughout the paint process, inspecting finished parts for quality, and ensuring materials move efficiently through the paint line. The operator contributes to product quality, safety, and workflow across the operation.
Requirements
- Follow safety procedures and demonstrate safe work practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Accurately identify, prepare, and inspect products throughout the paint process.
- Manage time and priorities to maintain production flow and meet scheduling requirements.
- Work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Identify products and components by customer, part number, and color requirements to ensure accurate processing.
- Load and unload components and finished products from pallets, carts, conveyors, and paint line equipment.
- Prepare components for painting by hanging parts and applying plugs, grease, masking, and other required materials.
- Inspect painted products for quality issues, including broken plugs, missing components, paint coverage concerns, and other defects.
