Reporting to the Director, Global Digital Marketing & Media, this position will support the strategy and day-to-day execution of Olaplex’s media activities across all channels. You will work closely with cross-functional sales and marketing stakeholders and will manage Olaplex’s external media agency. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between high-level business goals and day-to-day management of media campaigns across our DTC and retail channels. This is a high-impact role requiring a "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality, where you will balance technical platform optimization with high-level strategy to ensure Olaplex exceeds brand and revenue goals.

Requirements

  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • 5+ years of experience in digital/paid media, ideally within prestige beauty, haircare, or luxury CPG
  • Expert-level knowledge of multiple ad platforms, including TikTok Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Amazon ads, etc
  • Demonstrated experience being hands on managing media campaigns from campaign ideation to tactical set up and execution
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate cross-functionally with senior and junior team members
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and can pivot strategies based on real-time market performance
  • A revenue-focused mindset, with a deep understanding of the global retail eco-system, including digital advertising
  • A team player, able to work successfully across multiple business functions and cultures

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, goal setting, and optimization of paid campaigns across CTV, OOH, Meta, Google (YouTube, Search, Shopping), TikTok, Amazon, and other media platforms
  • Develop strategies that bridge the gap between high-impact brand awareness and lower-funnel performance marketing
  • Work with Olaplex’s media agency to allocate budgets across channels based on seasonal priorities and revenue goals
  • Own daily and weekly reporting share outs, including analysis of all campaigns and translating insights into immediate optimizations and own monthly share out of paid media results and actions in cross-functional meetings. Become an expert in MMM tool and constantly leverage learnings to improve media campaign results
  • Oversee all media creative briefs to ensure prior performance data and learnings are translated into actionable briefs for in-house creative team and lead A/B testing roadmaps for video hooks, static imagery, and landing page CRO
  • Determine what ad content and messaging should run and when
  • Stay ahead of media and social trends, and be able to identify emerging platforms and beta opportunities to keep the brand competitively advantaged from a media standpoint
  • Support in the day-to-day relationship management with key vendor partners, including Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, etc.
