About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working with a team to unload, sort, move, and load packages safely and efficiently so they reach their destinations on time. Training is provided, and previous warehouse experience is not required.

The position is seasonal part-time, with a season running from October 27, 2026, through January 1, 2027. The scheduled shift is five days on and two days off, from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM, with a typical shift lasting approximately four hours. End times may vary based on package volume and business needs. The role pays $16.00 per hour, with weekly pay, eligibility for overtime pay consistent with applicable law, premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, and a seasonal bonus. Bonus eligibility, amount, and payment requirements may vary by location and assignment.

This is a temporary seasonal position. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed. The work location is 10738 Dutchtown Rd, Suite A, Knoxville, TN 37932.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Be able to repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Be able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Be able to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Be able to work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their destinations safely and on time.
