SEASONAL PACKAGE HANDLER

About The Position
GLS US is seeking seasonal package handlers to sort packages into the correct routes and help ensure proper delivery timelines. Package handlers work as part of a team to complete behind-the-scenes warehouse work safely and successfully, with a focus on safety, quality, and working at a fast pace. Duties include scanning and sorting packages, loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, following warehouse safety rules, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
- Must be willing to follow instructions and accept supervision.
- Must maintain a positive attitude toward work and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
Responsibilities
- Scan and/or sort packages.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
