About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler at its Chantilly, Virginia location. The role supports holiday package operations by unloading, sorting, moving, and loading packages, keeping packages and the work area organized, and working with a team to move packages safely and on time. Training is provided; previous warehouse experience is not required.

This is a seasonal, part-time position scheduled for October 27, 2026 through January 1, 2027. Available shifts run from 2:00 AM to 8:30 AM or until the sort ends, on one of several weekday/weekend schedules. End times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Overtime may be required when business needs require it, and overtime pay is provided in accordance with applicable law. The position pays $19.00 per hour and offers a seasonal bonus subject to applicable eligibility and payment terms. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Seasonal employees may be considered for permanent openings after the assignment, but continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during the scheduled shift.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work with a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
