About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler at 101 Lester Avenue, Johnson City, NY 13790. The role helps keep packages moving through the warehouse during the holiday season. No previous warehouse experience is required, and training is provided. The position runs from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027, and is seasonal, part-time employment. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 4:30 AM to 9:00 AM or until the sort ends; end times may vary based on package volume and business needs. Pay is $16.50, with weekly pay, a seasonal bonus, and premium pay for hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Overtime pay is available in accordance with applicable law, and scheduled overtime may be required when business needs require it. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for action.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
