About The Position

OnTrac is hiring a seasonal Package Handler to help move packages through its warehouse during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working with a team to unload, sort, move, organize, and load packages safely and efficiently. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided. The role is seasonal and part-time, with a season running from October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The listed location is 6000 Fallard Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. The shift is Saturday through Wednesday, 3:30 AM to 7:30 AM or until the sort ends. Pay is $17.65, with weekly pay and overtime pay consistent with applicable law. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Seasonal team members may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, depending on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the job posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments, as temperature control capabilities may be limited in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their next destination safely and on time.
