About The Position

Symbiotic Services is recruiting a reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Pack and Ship Associate for a confidential client in the apparel industry. The role is responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders, preparing merchandise for shipment, inspecting packaging materials and completed orders, and ensuring packages are secure and ready for distribution. The position is based in a warehouse or distribution setting and reports directly to the Pack and Ship Manager.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of pick-and-pack, order fulfillment, shipping, or related warehouse experience.
Previous experience in an apparel distribution or shipping environment.

Responsibilities

Review customer orders, invoices, and shipping documentation to identify items requiring shipment.
Assemble and prepare daily orders according to shipping destinations and order categories.
Pack merchandise securely in appropriate containers to prevent damage during transportation.
Inspect merchandise, packages, and shipping containers for visible damage and compliance with applicable requirements.
Seal, label, and prepare shipping containers for distribution.
Maintain accurate shipping records, including invoices, delivery notes, and package documentation.
Complete packing slips, order forms, and shipping labels with the required information.
Verify shipping details and conduct quality checks on packaging materials and completed orders.
Organize packages and prepare them for shipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation; clean and organize shipping containers, packing materials, and related supplies.
Support daily packing and shipping operations and collaborate with team members and supervisors.
Follow established packing, shipping, and workplace procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
