About The Position

eFulfillment Service (eFS) is a growing, family-owned third-party logistics company that warehouses and distributes merchandise for e-commerce sellers. The Production Associate performs day-to-day order fulfillment tasks, including picking, labeling, packing, rating, adding dunnage, taping, and shipping, while maintaining accurate output and maximum productivity. The role involves reading pick sheets or orders to locate and pull the correct products and quantities; selecting boxes and packing products; scanning and rating orders and applying labels; filling and taping boxes; and verifying packages and preparing shipping labels. Associates also process special shipping requests and route packages to the appropriate carrier area. The position works in a typical warehouse environment, with exposure to noise, dust, and changes in temperature and lighting. Order-volume fluctuations may require overtime and occasional weekend work. The role requires standing, walking, pushing, twisting, and bending throughout a generally eight-hour shift, as well as frequently lifting merchandise weighing 0–50 pounds.

Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Ability to communicate verbally and effectively with management and coworkers.
Ability to walk, stand, push, twist, and bend throughout a generally eight-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Pick the correct products and quantities from the warehouse using order or pick-sheet SKU, quantity, and location information.
Select appropriately sized boxes, pack products, and move orders to the rating station.
Verify the number of boxes, scan orders and box sizes, process orders, and apply labels.
Fill boxes with the necessary amount of paper, fold box tops, and move boxes through the taping machine.
Verify package counts, scan rated labels to produce shipping labels, process special shipping requests, and place packages in the appropriate carrier pallet or bin.
Perform assigned work to a high standard with or without direct supervision.
Communicate with the department lead to resolve order fulfillment issues promptly.
Update job codes in the time clock system when moving between job functions.
Follow safety policies and company policies, and encourage peers to do the same.
Operate production-line equipment, including bagging, taping, and dunnage machines, as well as computer systems.
Perform additional duties as required.
