About The Position
This position requires you to be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time. You will be running primarily in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and California with an average of 2,500 miles per week. You will be required to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a year. Additional work might be available upon request, and regional work will be required. You must be able to haul containers to and from the rail yards and be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol.
Requirements
- 24 months tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Class 1/AZ license
- U.S. qualified
- Minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experience
- Minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain experience
- Registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
Responsibilities
- Be on the road 5 to 7 days at a time
