This position requires owner-operators to be on the road for 7 to 14 days at a time, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month. Drivers will be available for dispatch 24 days a month and will take resets on the road as required. The role involves running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul. Southbound freight can depart from any Bison location into any of the lower 48 states, and northbound freight can go into any Canadian Province or Territory. Drivers are required to drive in Ontario (17) and U.S. Mountains 12 months a year. Regional freight will also be required. The role involves hauling all commodities, including meat and alcohol. A flexible schedule requiring weekend departures is necessary.
