About The Position

The Overnight Valet welcomes hotel guests and visitors, assists with directions and luggage, checks vehicles for existing damage, and parks and moves vehicles safely and efficiently. The role also includes securing keys, managing hotel rental items and waivers, driving a shuttle when required, and maintaining clean work areas. The position requires overnight availability and involves working outdoors in varying weather conditions. The listed salary is $18.40.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with no marks on record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Availability to work the overnight shift.
• Superior professionalism, organization, and communication skills.
• Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Willingness to work in heat, wind, rain, and other elements.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet hotel guests and visitors as they enter the drive and open car and lobby doors.
• Provide directions and assist guests and visitors with unloading and reloading luggage.
• Complete valet tickets, including a comprehensive vehicle damage check.
• Park and move vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Tag and secure keys in the key room or at the podium.
• Manage hotel rental items, such as bikes and surfboards, and ensure each rental has a corresponding waiver.
• Drive the shuttle vehicle based on site requirements.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including sweeping the drive and cleaning the key room or podium area.
