About The Position

An Overnight Valet Attendant represents LAZ Parking as the first person customers see upon arrival and the last person they see when departing. The role requires a warm welcome, a professional demeanor, and a focus on providing excellent customer service. The position is part-time and works overnight from 11 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., Thursday through Sunday. Applicants must know how to drive a manual-transmission vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with at least two years of experience.
• Must know how to drive a stick shift.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently during a shift.
• Willingness to work in outdoor elements, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Parking and/or hospitality industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic to keep vehicle flow organized.
• Welcome and greet guests upon arrival and departure, address their needs, and build rapport with customers.
• Open and close vehicle doors for customers.
• Assist guests with luggage as needed.
• Turn off vehicles and remove keys.
• Issue valet tickets and explain the vehicle retrieval process.
• Park and retrieve vehicles carefully, efficiently, and promptly.
• Work independently or with supervision as needed.
• Promote positive customer relations by providing attentive service.
