About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food, ensuring products are fully stocked and clearly labeled. The role maintains a neat, clean, and organized club by performing housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard. It also supports club policies and procedures, delivers a safe and positive experience for members and team members, and may involve working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds may need to be moved with assistance.
• Ability to move about continuously on hard surfaces and frequently bend, climb, crawl, handle, pull, reach, stoop, and position oneself to examine or scan merchandise.

• Previous grocery or stock experience.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain display signage and create labels or apply sales tags; ensure product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Follow club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence, address and deescalate member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Work collaboratively to meet club standards, including keeping items stocked, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
