About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food; keeps merchandise fully stocked, labeled, and clearly priced; and helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized club. The role includes handling damaged or spoiled products according to company policies, removing trash and cardboard, following club procedures, and working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.

Team members are expected to support club policies and compliance, act with honesty and integrity, contribute to a safe and positive environment, work collaboratively and respectfully, and provide friendly service. The position also supports GOLD Member and Club Standards through attentive member service, accurate signage, stocked displays, executed promotional plans, and clean, organized facilities.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Able to perform the physical activities described, including continuously lifting objects up to 50 pounds and, with assistance, potentially moving heavier or awkward objects.

• Previous grocery or stock experience.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain display signage and create or apply product labels and sales tags.
• Ensure product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Follow club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Deliver friendly member service and resolve or escalate member concerns appropriately.
• Work with the team to maintain GOLD Club Standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Access and read department production and/or financial performance reporting.
