About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food in the club, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and clearly labeled. The role also helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized club by removing trash and debris and completing general housekeeping duties. Team members are expected to follow club policies and procedures, support a safe and positive environment, work collaboratively, and deliver friendly service and GOLD Member and Club Standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds.
• May need to lift and move heavy and/or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grocery or stock experience.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensure merchandise is fully stocked.
• Maintain display signage and create labels or apply sales tags to merchandise.
• Ensure product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support safe, positive experiences for members and fellow team members.
• Deliver member service and address or escalate member concerns.
• Work with the team to maintain GOLD Club Standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Understand how to access and read department production and/or financial performance reporting.
