About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked and clearly labeled. The role maintains product display signage, applies labels and sales tags, and handles damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures. It also keeps the club neat, clean, and organized through general housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard. The position requires following club policies and procedures, attending work regularly and predictably, and performing other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.

Team members are expected to support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act honestly and with integrity; prioritize members; contribute to a safe, positive, inclusive environment; collaborate respectfully; work with speed and agility; adapt to change; and maintain a friendly, positive attitude. They deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and work as a team to maintain daily GOLD standards, including well-stocked merchandise, executed promotional plans, accurate signage, and clean, organized club spaces. They are also expected to understand how to access and read department performance reporting and how consistent execution affects the business.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Continuously lift objects up to 50 pounds; heavier and/or awkward objects may need to be lifted and moved with assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Previous grocery or stock experience preferred.
• Big box or wholesale retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food, ensuring products are fully stocked.

• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain and support club policies, procedures, and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and help maintain a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Work collaboratively to meet daily club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, and maintaining accurate signage.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Understand how to access and read department production and/or financial performance reporting.
