About The Position

The Overnight Stock Clerk stocks, rotates, and stores general merchandise and/or food, ensuring merchandise is fully stocked, clearly labeled, and properly signed. The role also helps maintain a neat, clean, and organized club by performing housekeeping duties and removing trash and cardboard. Team members follow club policies and procedures, support a safe and positive environment, work collaboratively to meet GOLD Member and Club Standards, and provide friendly service. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Continuously lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds; lifting and moving heavier or awkward objects over 50 pounds with assistance may be required.
• Previous grocery or stock experience preferred.
• Big-box or wholesale retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and store general merchandise and/or food.
• Ensure merchandise is fully stocked and display signage is maintained.
• Create labels and/or apply merchandise sales tags; ensure product labels and price tags are clear and visible.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to company policies and procedures.
• Keep the club neat, clean, and organized; perform general housekeeping, including removing trash and cardboard.
• Maintain club policies and procedures.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Support club policies, procedures, and compliance while contributing to a safe, positive, inclusive environment.
• Work as a team to meet GOLD Club Standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, maintaining accurate signage, and keeping the club clean and organized.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
