About The Position
Paradise Point Resort and Spa is seeking a Security Guard to help ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think quickly and remain calm in high-stress situations. The role requires working a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior hotel security experience is preferred. The resort is part of Davidson Hospitality Group, which describes its workplace as focused on quality hospitality, team member well-being, and a supportive environment. Employment is subject to a pre-employment drug test and background check; the company participates in E-Verify.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security or law enforcement experience; hotel experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures.
- First aid/CPR certification.
