About The Position

Abraxas Youth and Family Services is seeking a full-time Overnight Monitor at Woodridge Interventions in Woodridge, Illinois. The role supports patients during sleeping hours by maintaining alertness, assisting with evening routines, conducting safety and perimeter checks, documenting behaviors and unsafe conditions, screening patients and belongings, and using crisis intervention techniques. The schedule is 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The position pays $18.00 per hour, and DailyPay is available. No experience is required for many positions, and paid training is provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Complete a physical examination that includes TB and drug testing.
Pass federal and state background checks, including screening for specified criminal offenses.
Satisfactorily complete background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including employment and/or personal references and driving records.
Ability to work with computers and department-related software.

Responsibilities

Remain alert and responsive to the unit and patients during sleeping hours.
Assist evening staff with bed and bath routines.
Conduct outside perimeter checks.
Conduct nightly safety checks.
Conduct bed and body checks at intervals of no more than 15 minutes.
Screen patients and their belongings.
Record inappropriate patient behaviors.
Document unsafe conditions and notify appropriate people.
Use crisis intervention techniques, identify potential conflicts, and intervene.
